OMG it’s 03:30 and I am frozen. Before leaving home I decided that the tempurature is going to be in the nineties during the day and therefore I don’t need to take my sleeping bag. Yep, a genius. I had a sheet and a thin blanket on top of a air mattress.

My dad was kind enough to let me share his sleeping bag and sheet but I was still cold. Tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn’t.

We wait till the sun comes up and then we head to the showers. Thank God there was plenty of hot water to warm us up. Once back to the tent  I ran a clothesline inside the awning to hang the wet items from the heavy dew. I also had to hang my underwear as they never dried overnight.

Once we got everything straightened out in the tent we jumped on the bike and ride to the main gate entrance for some breakfast. We read that there was a good breakie at the red barn. WRONG this is the place charged us the $20.00 for a lousy 2 egg breakfast.

We meet two two gentleman from the UK how rebuild Chipmunks and also support an organization that supports veterans who have lost limbs and those that live with serious injuries.

We make our way into the aviation flea market and were amazed by the amount of great items were for sale. We have limited room to buy anything which really sucks.

We have never been here before so we start to walk about and then we ride the trams all over the airport to check things out.

Here’s Bills latest ride

We checked out the menu inside the airport at a number of places to eat but decided to go up the road for some food a little more healthy and we found an Italian place that offered all this good for $11.81.

After we ate we went to Walmart and bought a sleeping bag so I won’t freeze and some snacks for the evening.

We got back and caught the afternoon air show which was quite entertaining.

After we wandered all over the place after the air show we decided to go to dinner at Red Robin.

When we got back to our campsite we met a couple who road a BMW dual purpose motorcycle to the show from Kingston, Ontario. Really nice folks who have been all over on their bike. We then ended up back over to visit with our new family, Dave & Robin and they talked airplanes and such as I did thus blog.

23:00 it’s been a great day despite the overcast cool weather but I’m going to bed as I only got three hours last night.

Be blessed our friends.
