06:30 Someone is up and using his new electric shaver while laying on his bed right beside me. Well I’m awake and after I look outside I just want to go back to sleep. It’s cold and foggy again. What’s with this place. What terrible weather. Fishing must pay better than I think.
Yeah I know “This is the day the Lord has made and I’ll be glad in it”.
Okay I’m going for coffee first as I have a headache and maybe it will help. Oh man it’s 64F which is better than yesterdays 46F.
We stop at the corner for Tim’s and by 08:30 we are off making our way along the coast from Bridgetown to Windsor and then up 215 along the coast to Truro, here is a few photos along the way;
Sorry I didn’t find a good spot for a photo of the orchards and vineyards. The temps are up to 86F YEAH!
We stop in Sackville at the restaurant we went to on the way down Patterson’s. Once again we try the Hot Turkey and guess what Pumpkin Pie on special $2.00. Well the turkey was good but the pie had no flavor, we think someone forgot the spice hence the special.

Oh I forgot a photo before eating so please excuse the mess. LOL
We then take Highways 2 & 1 all the way to the border at St Stephen crossing into Calais Maine.
We had no problem at the border and were through in about twenty minutes and then made our way to highway 9 to Bangor.
We arrived in Bangor at around 18:30 local 19:30 CB time and while we were filling up a fellow started chatting with us about the ride and told us that we could get a room in Skowhegan before dark.
Well I spotted a nice motel in Canaan Me. so I pulled in and sure enough they had a room $74.99 USD plus tax. Not bad even with the exchange. Oh fuel was 0.81/litre cdn. Whats with Canada gouging us.
Only problem with the motel is there is nowhere to eat in town besides Dunkin Donuts. As much as I love donuts I’m going down the road to find something else.
Well first place was the Dairy Bar and they had a special;

Missing in this photo is one hotdog and one twist ice-cream cone. Ah fitness food or is that comfort food. Either way it wasn’t bad tasting.
I returned to our room to find my father in bed, it’s 7:30pm local. He will be up at 4:30 if he goes to sleep now and if he wakes me you will hear on the news about the death of an elderly Canadian in Canaan Maine Motel.
Well 21:30 Local and the blog is up, not bad but not to many photos today.
