Well Hello it’s 07:30 EST and I’m just getting up from a full nights rest I bet I snored like a bear. Oh well Dad has ear plugs.
Here’s a a few shots of the motel and room;

We rode through Skowhegan and didn’t see anything to exciting for breakfast so we continued to Norridgewock Me to a restaurant I stopped at when I brought Senoir Honda home called What’s for Breakfast but now it’s called What’s for Dinner.

Well maybe we should have had dinner because the breakfast was kinda flat, literally the omelette was flat as a pancake. the toast was from homemade bread which was good but the coffee sucked.
There is nothing but cash taken and you can tell by the machine.

Oh well everything changes and not always for the best.
It is a clear warm sunny morning thanks Maine. Today we will make our way across Highway 2 through Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York State and then to visit my aunt and uncle in Cobourg Ontario.
Well we made our way through Maine with a visit in Bethel Me. before entering New Hampshire.

Once again we stopped near Jefferson at the Water Wheel for real Maple Syrup and Pancakes

Service was super slow despite our simple order. They don’t seem to care as there is always a lineup to get a seat. Fifty five minutes later and we are back on the road.
Once again we had to go to the Maple Syrup factory in St Johnsbury to make sure there was nothing new and guess what, there was. They have Maple Syrup Soft Serve Ice Cream for $2.00

Our favorite sample table is still there and Maple sugar candies
We rode up through Lake Champlain what a nice ride we did get some photos in as well;

I’ve never seen one of these road signs before:

We made the border by 18:00 but it’s still three hours to Cobourg and it gets dark around 20:00. Now there is two things I hate to do on the bike. 1. Ride at night(Deer/Moose). 2. Ride at night on Friday night(Drunks).
Well while driving down the 401 we had a Honda Civic blow and shed a tire which caused some excitement for a few seconds as I swerved into the right lane that was open and braked for a second.
The speed limit was posted at 100km but there wasn’t a car doing under 110. Tons of trucks hence lots of buffeting and lots of passing. Ah I love passing and weaving so we don’t get hit. It’s like if you go fast, weave and swerve they can’t get you.
We were close to the turnoff with the gas light on, the indicator buried below the red and 239 miles on the trip odometer so we needed fuel very soon or it was going to get quiet. As soon as we pulled off the 401 there was a gas station and very close a McDonalds so we could both fuel up and text TJ to say we were safe.
We rolled up the my Uncle’s at 21:30, man we made good time. They were so happy to see us and they kept saying how glad we had stopped. My Uncle Bob and Aunt Sharon have always been good so good to me. Sharon had two beds made for us and were up till midnight catching up.
They do not have internet so I’m going to have to find a place to upload.
