06:30 and again I can’t sleep. Stupid internet was so slow I left the photos to upload and they didn’t and I had to spend an hour this morning getting them up.

My father is up and lying on the bed rubbing his leather boots together while I get the blog done. The squeaking isn’t bothering me at all.

After the blog is up we make our way to get some pasties and then we are off for points west. We are going along Hwy 28 and 2 to Bemidji Mn.

Here is the raspberry pastie

The view is mostly the same as yesterday trees and some lakes. It was raining early in the day but cleared by noon.  

We arrived in Bemidji at 18:00 and Dad decided to call it a day and find a room. We checked the net and found one at the Super 8 and then we went down to the Green Mill near the lake for dinner.

I felt like Italian and Dad wanted Fabulous Dave’s but there is no Famous Dave’s here so he has spaghetti and I had shrimp and lobster fettucine along with garlic spread on white bread. Quite a healthy dinner LOL

I have spent the last two hours trying to upload photos and its supper slow. Anyway not much today maybe I’ll report better tomorrow.

Our friends in Winnipeg are leaving for Newfoundland in the morning so we won’t swing north to see them.
