644 mi — about 12 hours, 40 mins
04:45 I hear movement and the digging for stuff, what a nut he only went to bed after 23:00.
I played dead and went back to sleep, I didn’t get to sleep till 01:00
05:45 I’m up and he’s down at the motel breakfast room. I think she said it started at 06:00 oh well he’ll be back.
06:20 We ask some fellows if they knew where McDonalds is and they gave us directions ten miles away. I then remembered we came to this hotel because I was heading to the Mc D across the street. Duh. (More Sleep required).
07:00 We finish our coffee and today it was hot so he was happy. I have never been in a dirtier McDonalds. What a dump.
Due to rush hour traffic in Toronto I elect to go Hwy 403 and QEW to Niagara Falls and cross at the Rainbow Bridge.
Traffic slowed a bit in three parts but other wise we went real steady.
Great weather again and no one at customs so we drove right up.
We tried to avoid the freeway toll across New York but ended up on it twice. It’s really hard to cross New York East to West as there are no straight through roads so you jog up and down a lot. I picked Hwy 20 and it was still a pain. Lots of paving and slow farmers.
We spent a lot of today scenic driving along the farmers fields Vineyards and Orchards. I really like going through upper New York but today was a pain. We did get some fresh picked blueberries, cookies and fresh-baked pie at one orchard.
Oh I forgot to mention yesterday Dad was talking about pie and ice cream so I spotted one of those little ice cream huts while travelling through a town and I got Dad an ice cream.
I was so tired I missed the lunch we had. Before crossing the bridge we stopped at for a Turkey Pasty with gravy. I never had these before but they were real good. Sorry I had to get that in as they were new.
Okay so today we still had two meat pasties left and when we stopped at the orchard for berries we asked if we could eat our lunch and of course they said yes and we also had a guest.
I love peanut butter cookies!
Here are some photos of New Hampshire & Vermont

Drive through Vermont and you’ll see this type of town almost everywhere.
07:20 We arrive at White River VT and can’t find a motel near town so we decide it’s still daylight and we drive north to St Johnsbury Vt and guess what no rooms. Now dark we drive another half hour on twisted road where moose live to finally get a room at Coos Motel in Lancaster NH.

Errrr all day we saw motels with only two or three cars even one south of White River about 10 mins.
Anyway it was 10:00 and we negotiated a $99.00 usd room which is real nice. Nothing open to eat but the Golden Arches.
I have to say this Grilled Chicken Club with sautéed onions was good. So full we can’t eat our fresh baked pie.
23:30 time for bed MUST Snore more. LOL
